About The Position
Virginia Tech's Division of Student Affairs is seeking two Embedded Counselors to join the Thomas E. Cook Counseling Center team in Blacksburg, VA. One counselor will be located in the College of Science (COS) five days a week, while the other will work in the Pamplin College of Business (PCOB) in a hybrid role, spending three days a week in PCOB and two days a week at the main campus location. These counselors will provide direct clinical and psycho-educational services to students and offer consultation and training opportunities for faculty, advisors, and staff within the colleges. The role emphasizes student mental health and well-being through brief focused therapy interventions and outreach.
