About The Position

The Email Security Specialist will be a key member of the Cybersecurity Engineering and Operations team at AECOM, focusing on managing and enhancing email security solutions using Proofpoint. This role requires a strong understanding of email security protocols and threat protection, along with collaboration across global teams to implement security policies and procedures. The position offers flexibility for hybrid work schedules, allowing for both in-office and remote work.

Requirements

• BA/BS plus at least 4 years of relevant IT Security experience, or equivalent experience/education
• Proven experience with Proofpoint's suite of products (EFD, TRAP, TAP, POD)
• Strong understanding of email security and threat protection

Responsibilities

• Manage and enhance Proofpoint's email security and threat protection solutions
• Act as primary contact for managed service vendor
• Collaborate with cross-functional, global teams to develop and implement security policies and procedures
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and best practices
• Cross train to support other security programs including vulnerability management
