About The Position

Everything Bagel Partners is seeking a seasoned Email + Retention Strategist with a strong background in Klaviyo, digital marketing, direct response copywriting, and automation flows. The ideal candidate will be comfortable navigating between email strategy and execution. This position will contribute to growing the LTV and Repurchase Rate for our diverse clientele by implementing best practices in Klaviyo and ensuring monthly goals are met. This role is pivotal in aligning strategy with client retention goals, ensuring consistent, on-brand communication that fosters meaningful engagement with the audience. This is a remote, full-time position requiring some availability overlap with 9-5 US Eastern Time.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years in retention marketing for a DTC brand with hands-on Klaviyo and Shopify experience.
  • Proven experience leveraging data to inform and drive strategic retention marketing initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Experience communicating with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Klaviyo including the campaign builder, audience segmentation, and dynamic content tools.
  • Experience using Figma

  • Proficiency in project management tools like Asana to organize and streamline workflows.
  • Comfort within Google Suite, particularly Google Docs and Google Sheets.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth communication across copywriting, design, and technical groups.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, adept at managing tasks for multiple accounts simultaneously and prioritizing tasks in a dynamic environment, and communicating proactively.
  • Omnisend or Hubspot experience.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the implementation of retention marketing strategies for diverse clients, ensuring seamless teamwork between copywriting, design, and technical teams.
  • Oversee the planning and production of email and SMS campaigns and flows.
  • Produce and manage requests to align with client retention goals while ensuring timely delivery and a focus on driving audience engagement and loyalty.
  • Develop client email/SMS campaign calendars.
  • Brief all approved campaigns.
  • Partner with internal teams to develop retention-focused strategies, incorporating customer insights to enhance personalization and strengthen long-term customer relationships.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of email and SMS campaigns and flows, delivering actionable insights and reporting on key metrics to refine creative strategies and optimize customer retention initiatives.
