About The Position

The Email Developer is responsible for the coding and development of email marketing campaigns for daily sends as well as targeted, triggered, and automated programs. This role requires the integration of dynamic content using HTML code, ampscript and general content functionality within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in related field required (i.e., email marketing, email development).
• Minimum 1 year of experience with email testing techniques required, including A/B and/or multivariate.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with email service providers (ESPs) required, such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Nice To Haves

• Strong Ampscript knowledge and experience.
• Reporting experience, especially on dynamic / multi-variant tests.

Responsibilities

• Code, develop, and setup complex email campaigns with dynamic content using ampscript and enhanced features within platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud and MovableInk.
• Execute email campaigns with a heavy emphasis on customer segmentation, QA, testing protocol, and technical prowess.
• Utilize ampscript, HTML, CSS and other technical knowledge to execute dynamic content within email campaigns.
• Proficient with list selection criteria and creation of email content based on audience attributes and campaign needs.
• Responsible for overall email rendering and quality control after dynamic content has been implemented.
• Initiates dynamic content plans in line with Marketing strategy, drives forward and follows through against promised development timelines.
• Solution oriented; positively impacts the environment of his or her direct team and others with whom he or she interacts.
