About The Position

Lancaster EMS is currently recruiting Full-time EMTs. Lancaster EMS is a premier, nationally accredited ambulance service in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Responding to over 38,000 requests for service annually, Lancaster EMS delivers top quality emergent and non-emergent clinical care supported by a highly engaged medical director, modern equipment, and peer-driven performance improvement team. Lancaster EMS EMTs are responsible for the full spectrum of out of hospital emergency and non-emergency patient care and transportation at the Basic Life Support (BLS) level as outlined in the PA EMS Act and as defined by the PA Department of Health scope of practice.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• PA EMS Certification.
• CPR certification.
• EVOC certification.
• EMSVO certification.
• Haz-Mat Awareness certification.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide out of hospital emergency and non-emergency patient care and transportation at the Basic Life Support (BLS) level.
• Demonstrate strong clinical knowledge and proficiency in emergency medical services.
• Function effectively in a team dynamic to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain composure under stressful situations while performing job tasks with minimal supervision.
