About The Position

Schedule: Monday - Friday, first shift (8-4/9-5) (rotating half day Saturdays) (Pay Range: $17.00-$22.11/hr) Essential functions of this job include, but are not limited to: Learns new tasks, remembers processes, maintains focus, completes tasks independently, makes timely decisions in the contexts of workflows, and is able to complete tasks that have a speed and/or productivity quota. Effectively implements Agency and program policies and procedures. Secures facility keys in designated area at all times. Documents, via zoom chat, that their shift has started and they have reviewed all relevant documentation from prior staff. At the conclusion of their shift, documents via zoom chat that they are logging off and have made sure all program activities, emergency situations, and unusual incidents are communicated to the next shift. Reads all staff meeting minutes if not in attendance for actual meeting and documents in an email or zoom chat that it was completed. Checks all perimeter doors at the end of each work shift to ensure they are locked and alarms are armed. Records results of check on shift report each shift. Documents unusual activity, vandalism, maintenance issues, injuries, and medical concerns as needed. Notifies appropriate supervisor as necessary. Effectively communicates emergency situations in a timely manner to Operations Supervisor, Program Administrator, EM Director, or designee as required. Effectively communicates emergency situations in a timely manner to co-workers and a facility supervisor as required. Completes required documentation in an accurate and timely manner. Notifies a facility supervisor immediately when law enforcement and/or fire department/EMS personnel are called to the facility. Notifies a facility supervisor when law enforcement agencies call the facility requesting client information. Maintains accurate and timely whereabouts of all clients assigned to the program. Calls clients to verify whereabouts. Notifies appropriate facilities and outside agencies of any unauthorized client activities.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Must possess a valid Ohio driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a driving record that does not preclude the employee from being covered by Agency liability insurance
  • Must possess exceptional clerical, office, organizational, and prioritizations skills
  • Must have the cognitive skills needed to complete tasks, including abilities such as learning, remembering, focusing, categorizing, and integrating information for decision making, problem solving, and comprehending
  • Must have the ability to simultaneously address multiple complex problems and multi-task without loss of efficiency or accuracy
  • Must be able to perform effectively and efficiently under high stress, emergencies, and conflict situations
  • Must have the ability to effectively work with Agency employees, outside contacts, and a diverse client population
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s Degree in human services field preferred
  • Relevant job experience may be substituted for preferred college degree
  • An aptitude with current technology preferred
