EM Inventory Analyst
About The Position
Analyze inventory data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities Monitor stock levels across locations (stores, warehouses, distribution centers) Forecast demand based on historical sales, seasonality, and market trends Recommend replenishment strategies and inventory allocations Collaborate with merchandising, purchasing, and supply chain teams Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as turnover rate, sell-through, and shrinkage Investigate discrepancies and resolve inventory issues Generate regular reports and dashboards for leadership Support pricing, promotions, and assortment planning decisions
Requirements
- High School degree or GED required, some college preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in a retail environment either in inventory, sales or back office
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data modeling)
- Experience with inventory management
- Knowledge of retail or merchandising operations
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
