About The Position

BluePearl Pet Hospital is proud to offer our Emergency Veterinarian Mentorship Training Program - EmERge. Our EmERge provides you with the skills and the confidence that you need to be a successful Emergency Veterinarian at one of our state-of-the-art hospitals through one-on-one peer guided mentorship. The BluePearl EmERge Program is designed to give veterinary school graduates the necessary training to become successful Emergency Veterinarians. It is a full-time job from the very beginning, and we will prepare you for your first solo emergency shift at one of our BluePearl hospitals. The program combines lectures, interactive seminars, labs, mentoring, and hands-on practice experience. Not only will you receive valuable training from experienced Veterinarians, but you will also be paid a salary from the first day of your course.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited veterinary school.
• DVM or VMD degree.
• Sincere interest in becoming an Emergency Veterinarian.
• Current Veterinarian looking for a career change.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a one-year training program divided into three segments.
• Complete 16 weeks of initial training/boot camp.
• Engage in 16 weeks of immersive training guided by an experienced Veterinarian.
• Undergo 20 weeks of experiential training.
• Learn various topics including clinician leadership, principles of resuscitation and shock, and surgical emergencies.
