About The Position

Join Reliability Maintenance and Engineering (RME) Early Lifecycle Management (ELM) as a Launch Program Manager. The Amazon fulfillment network consists of many different site types to meet the customer expectations. Small delivery stations bring packages to customers homes daily while large complex fulfillment centers utilize various technologies to store, package, and ship customer orders. The RME ELM team is responsible to ensure all site types and local RME teams are setup to successfully maintain buildings during operations. We are looking for a Sr. ELM Launch Program Manager with a strong delivery record and proven ability to own and execute multiple projects simultaneously. This role requires working across multiple Amazon business organizations, in addition to vendors and third party contractors. The Sr. ELM Launch Program Manager will be responsible for influencing and driving critical path tasks with partners to maintain launch timelines. You will be on-site representing RME ELM, coordinating training, and onsite launch execution during the launch, reporting back to internal and Customer stakeholders through established reporting structures. This position involves regular communication with customer and RME leadership teams on status, risks, and change control. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, a natural problem solver, and a great communicator, both in verbal and written form. You have a consistent track record of successful project delivery under tight deadlines in an ambiguous environment. This role requires a high level of ownership over the launch process. Since this is a launch role, a minimum of 50% travel is required to effectively provide oversite for projects.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of industrial engineer, operations engineer, manufacturing engineer, or project engineer in a manufacturing environment experience
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, VBA, and SQL at the intermediate level
  • Experience working with and managing third party vendors
  • Experience with Six Sigma, lean manufacturing
