About The Position
In furtherance of Innovation's mission, ELL/ENL Teachers at Innovation ensure that our student-innovators will achieve rigorous academic goals by setting self-created, individualized educational goals within a three-tiered educational model of core classroom instruction, portfolio-based annual individual projects, and hands-on, experiential learning. Specifically, ELL/ENL Teachers either lead or co-plan, co-instruct, and co-assess students in the mainstream classroom. Under the direction of the Languages Department Chair, ELL/ENL teachers collaborate with general education teachers to develop, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program in an inclusive learning environment that guides and encourages ALL students to develop and fulfill their academic potential.
