Job Description As a Elite Security Officer - Armed Warehouse Access Control in San Antonio, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct regular patrols throughout a dynamic retail location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence to support a positive environment. This armed and driving position allows you to interact with the public, deliver outstanding customer service, and respond to situations as needed, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

Have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or 5 years of armed security-related experience.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and protocols provided by Allied Universal.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain high visibility while on patrol to help to deter potential issues and provide a reassuring presence to customers and staff.
Follow all company protocols and post orders specific to the location, including those related to the handling and carrying of firearms.
Work collaboratively with location management and/or law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies.
