As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming atmosphere. This position requires both armed and driving responsibilities as you remain visible, interact with the public, and provide exceptional customer service. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Must have at least 3 years of either military, law enforcement or 5 years of armed security experience.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft, disturbances, and/or policy violations.
Document and report all security-related incidents and/or irregularities according to established protocols.
Assist with emergency response activities as required by site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
Collaborate with store staff and/or management to address security-related concerns and maintain a welcoming environment for customers.
