About The Position
As an Eligibility Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our patients by: Screening and evaluating insurance coverage and eligibility for assistance programs. Guiding patients through financial requirements, insurance benefits, and co-payment counseling. Completing applications and ensuring timely follow-up with patients and agencies. Maintaining accurate records and updating patient information in our system. Assisting with outreach programs and educating patients about available resources. Your work ensures that every patient feels supported and informed throughout their healthcare journey.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 6 months to 1 year of related experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills with sensitivity to diverse populations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
