Riverside University Health System (RUHS) Medically Indigent Services Program (MISP) is currently recruiting to fill an Eligibility Specialist Trainee/I/II. The incumbent will support the Medically Indigent Services Program in Moreno Valley and may travel to various locations throughout Riverside County. The incumbent in this position will have experience with Medi-Cal eligibility in a hospital environment. The Eligibility Specialist Trainee/I/II will be tasked with eligibility services for one or more public social service aids or medical assistance programs as well as review, evaluate, investigate, and justify eligibility determinations. Additionally, the incumbent will assist in community outreaches, welcome patients to the facility, verify medical insurance coverage, or assist in applying for medical coverage, as well as answer phone and email inquiries.
