POSITION SUMMARY: Verify and correct patient insurance and policy information to ensure clean claims prior to payer submissions Identify and resolve eligibility denials, verification failures, and payer mapping/system errors Analyze eligibility trends and communicate findings to leadership Collaborate with offshore teams to improve eligibility accuracy and reduce denials Maintain productivity and accuracy standards in a fast-paced remote environment

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred
  • 2+ years of medical billing, eligibility, or revenue cycle experience
  • Knowledge of payer requirements, coordination of benefits, claim processing, clearinghouses (277/278 EDI files), and eligibility portals
  • Experience with insurance eligibility verification, denials management, and reimbursement processes
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, independent work style, and clear written and verbal communication skills
