About The Position
The State of Tennessee is seeking candidates for a position within the Department of Human Services, specifically in the Adult and Family Services Division located in Cookeville, TN. This is a full-time, on-site role that involves learning to perform eligibility determination work for SNAP and TANF programs. The employee will manage a workload of initial and ongoing eligibility determinations, provide case management, calculate monthly income and expenses, document case-related activities, and assist customers with the application process. The position also involves developing partnerships with vendors and outside organizations to promote programs and identify available services for customers.
