About The Position
The Prior Authorizations Specialist is responsible for facilitating and processing prior authorization needs to ensure that patients receive timely and appropriate medical treatments. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients, as well as an in-depth understanding of healthcare regulations and payer requirements. The specialist will collaborate with internal departments to gather necessary information, maintain accurate records, and provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
