About the position

The Elevator Lead Installer/Technician at MCI Elevator & Lifts is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various elevator systems, including residential elevators, wheelchair lifts, and stair lifts. This full-time position requires a strong focus on safety compliance, customer service, and technical proficiency in interpreting schematics and conducting inspections.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair elevator systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Interpret schematics and technical drawings to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on hydraulic and electrical components.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns.
• Utilize basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations during installations.
• Maintain organized records of service reports and inventory.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years elevator trade experience
• Current driver's license with clean driving record
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to perform tasks in a timely manner
• Self-starter with good organizational skills
• Positive working attitude
• Ability to work as a team
• Dependable, good attendance record
• Must be reliable, honest & trustworthy
• Basic math skills
• Ability to read basic drawings and electrical schematics
• Must be able to lift 100lbs
