About the position
The Elevator Operator position at Attebury Grain, LLC. involves performing general maintenance and housekeeping duties both inside and outside the grain elevator. Responsibilities
- Cleaning inside and outside of the elevator using a shovel, broom, mop, or other tools.
- Pumping water at various locations.
- Assisting with loading/unloading trucks.
- Assisting with loading/unloading railcars.
- Cleaning out grain bins.
- Keeping elevator grounds free of debris and organized.
- Mowing grass and trimming with a weed eater as needed.
- Maintaining mowers and weed trimmers.
- Using a hand sprayer to spray for bugs and mixing insecticide according to directions provided.
- Being alert and aware of any dangers or mechanical problems that could result in injury or damage to property.
- Maintaining punctual and regular attendance.
- Performing other tasks as assigned by Supervisor or Management.
