About The Position

TK Elevator is seeking a Repair Mechanic for the Houston area to support a diverse portfolio of elevator units. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Four years of related work experience as a mechanic in the elevator industry.
• Strong mechanical reasoning and comprehension skills.
• Hands-on mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Must reside within approximately 50 miles of Houston, TX.

• Background in all product lines of elevators is considered.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze the function of mechanical and electrical components to troubleshoot, adjust, or repair equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks including visually inspecting, manually cleaning, and lubricating elevator systems and components in various climate settings.
