About The Position
The Elementary Visual Arts Teacher at Southside Elementary is responsible for teaching a balanced Visual Arts curriculum to students. The teacher will utilize a course of study approved by the Siloam Springs School District and provide instruction that helps students develop aesthetic concepts and appreciations, as well as the ability to make qualitative judgments about art. The position requires maintaining professional competence through in-service education and adapting the curriculum to meet the needs of students with varying intellectual and artistic abilities.
