Position Overview The Elementary Teacher plans and delivers high-quality, standards-based instruction while creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment. Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons aligned to Arkansas academic standards (ELA, math, science, social studies)
- Integrate the arts through the Artful Learning® instructional model
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse academic, social, and emotional needs
- Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with families
- Support students with IEPs, 504s, GT, ELL, and other learning needs
- Establish a structured, respectful, and positive classroom culture
- Maintain clear expectations and effective classroom management
- Ensure student safety and well-being
