About The Position

Our unified P-12 district serves about 4,300 students and consists of the Amador County Unified School District and the Amador County Office of Education. Our schools and communities are nestled in the heart of the Gold Country in the Sierra Nevada Foothills, close to San Francisco, Sacramento, Yosemite and Lake Tahoe. Amador County Unified School District has two comprehensive high schools, one alternative high school, two junior high schools and six elementary schools.

Requirements

• Valid California multiple subject credential
• English Learner Compliance
• Letter of Introduction
• Resume
• 3 Current Letters of Recommendation (within a year)
• If you don't have an ELA (English Learner Authorization) or CLAD (Crosscultural, Language & Academic Development) you will be required to apply for an emergency CLAD permit with the CTC as a condition of employment.
• During the first year of employment you will need to earn the English Learner Authorization or CLAD certificate by course work, exam or a combination of course work and exam.
• Current clear TB Test and DOJ fingerprinting at Amador County Unified School District for the hired candidate will be required.
