The Elementary Teacher (K–5) is responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering high-qualityinstruction to students in a private school setting. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field
  • Valid teaching certification or eligibility for certification
  • Knowledge of elementary curriculum and instructional best practices
  • Strong classroom management and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver standards-based instruction in core subject areas, including English LanguageArts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies
  • Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and abilities
  • Create a structured, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
  • Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, resources, and technology tools
  • Assess and monitor student progress using formal and informal assessments
  • Maintain accurate records of grades, attendance, and student performance
  • Implement classroom management strategies that promote positive student behavior
  • Support students’ social, emotional, and character development
  • Communicate regularly and professionally with parents/guardians regarding student progressand classroom updates
  • Participate in parent-teacher conferences, faculty meetings, and school events
  • Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff
  • Adhere to all school policies, procedures, and expectations
  • Participate in ongoing professional development
  • Help lead innovative learning activities that promote children’s development and growth
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
  • Monitor children’s progress and development
