Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field
• Valid state teaching certification (or ability to obtain)
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills

• Commitment to continuous professional growth

• Experience in an elementary classroom setting
• Knowledge of differentiated instruction and best practices in literacy and math
• Ability to build strong relationships with students and families

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver standards-based instruction in core subject areas
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom culture that supports students' academic, social, and emotional development
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Assess student progress regularly and use data to inform instruction
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with parents/guardians
• Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and administration to support student success
• Integrate technology and hands-on learning experiences to enhance instruction
• Uphold school policies, procedures, and professional expectations
