About The Position

Elementary Teacher 2026/2027 School Year Benton Harbor Charter School Academy (BHCSA) is a vibrant, student-centered learning community where trust, care, and high expectations form the foundation of everything we do. Our school is organized into three community levels - Foundation (K-2), Gateway (3-5), and Preparatory (6-8) - each supported by lead teachers and student advocates to ensure coaching, mentoring, and restorative practices are embedded into daily learning. Requirements

  • Valid Michigan teaching certificate with appropriate endorsements OR Bachelor's degree with alternative certification pathway and MTTC passage
  • Ability to effectively use instructional technology
