The Classroom Teacher is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential. The teacher is accountable for the growth in student learning and must adhere to the guidelines set forth by the Louisiana Standards for State Certification of School Personnel Bulletin 746. The position requires a Bachelor's Degree and a valid Louisiana Teaching Certificate. The teacher will report to the Principal, Assistant Principal, or other assigned evaluators and will work for a term of nine, ten, eleven, or twelve months, with salary determined by the Nine, Ten, Eleven, or Twelve Month Teacher Salary Schedule.
