About The Position

Great Falls Elementary School is seeking a dedicated, collaborative, and student-centered Grade 1 Teacher to join our school community. The successful candidate will create a positive, engaging, and supportive classroom environment that fosters academic growth, social-emotional development, and a love of learning for all students. This teacher will work closely with colleagues, support staff, and families to provide high-quality instruction and meet the diverse needs of first-grade learners.

Requirements

• Maine Elementary Teaching Certification (or eligibility)
• Knowledge of early literacy, numeracy, and child development
• Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills
• Commitment to meeting the needs of all learners

• Planning and delivering high-quality instruction aligned to grade-level standards
