About The Position
The Fairview Park City Schools has an opening for a Fifth Grade Teacher.
Requirements
- Valid ODE Teacher Certification/Licensure Elementary 1-8 OR K-8 OR PK3 with 4-5 Endorsement
- K-12 Reading Endorsement Required
- Demonstrated knowledge of elementary instructional practices across all core content areas including English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies
- Ability to develop and implement standards-based instruction aligned to Ohio Learning Standards
- Knowledge of assessment practices, progress monitoring and data-informed instruction
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, including students with disabilities and English learners
- Strong classroom management and the ability to create a positive, structured learning environment
- Effective communication and collaboration skills when working with students, families and staff
- Familiarity with MTSS / RTI frameworks and tiered interventions
- Experience using instructional technology and digital learning platforms to support instruction
- Experience collaborating with intervention specialists and related service providers to support student learning
- Knowledge of IEP implementation and accommodations within the general education classroom
