About The Position

The Classroom Teacher is responsible for providing students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. The teacher will enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned.
• Letter of Acceptance from Educator Prep Program and Ability to Obtain Intern Certification Within One Year for Subject and Level Assigned.
• General knowledge of curriculum and instruction.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of subjects assigned.

• Ability to capitalize on students' interests to engage them as independent learners.
• Ability to use information about individual students to make learning more meaningful and relevant.
