About The Position
The Carlsbad Municipal School District is seeking an Elementary Summer School Teacher for grades K-5. This position is essential for the district's summer program, which will run from June 2 to June 25, 2025. The program is designed for students who have completed Kindergarten through 5th grade during the 2024/2025 school year and will focus on enhancing foundational skills in reading and math through small group instruction. The teacher will be required to participate in a district professional learning session on June 2nd and an out-of-town weekend of Levy Learning Professional learning as mandated by the New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED). The program will operate Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with students attending from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM. The lesson plans and schedule for each level will be provided to the teacher.
