Substitute Elementary French Teacher: 2025-2026 School Year Fort Collins, CO About AXIS: AXIS International Academy is a PreK through 5th Grade public charter school offering Core Knowledge curricula through language immersion. Position Title: Long Term Substitute French Elementary Teacher Status: Part Time or Full Time Supervisor: Leadership staff member, AXIS International Academy Fort Collins Start Date: Immediate through May 22, 2025. School Year Calendar August to May 31 Broad Scope of the Position: This is a long-term substitute teacher position. We will consider full-time and part-time applicants. The substitute French teacher will teach French literacy, language arts, science and social studies as well as elective subjects weekly (art, music, and physical education) to two cohorts of students, participating in our 50/50 dual language immersion model. All curricula and materials are provided. The teacher will team with the English Language Arts teacher and Math teacher, who will teach the other day lessons in the core subjects in English with the same students, but at the opposite time. Teachers have planning time 60 minutes each day while students attend Math class. This position teaches 2nd/3rd grade in the morning and 4th/5th grade in the afternoon.
