Position Overview: Resource Teacher (Part-Time) Deliver specialized, small-group instruction to K–2 students to meet specific literacy and numeracy Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals. Oversee the documentation of student progress and ensure all classroom accommodations are legally compliant. Behavior Support Teacher (Full-Time) Implement proactive Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and de-escalation strategies for students with significant social-emotional needs. Create a specialized classroom structure that prioritizes emotional regulation alongside foundational learning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education or related field
• Valid South Carolina Certification in Multi-Categorical Special Education (ED, MD, EMD, or TMD/Severe also accepted)
• Demonstrated experience working with the K–2 student population in a high-support setting

Responsibilities
