About The Position
Position: Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Teacher Grade Level: Pre-K (Ages 3�5) Campus: Schulenburg Elementary Primary Purpose: Provide special education services to eligible early childhood students in accordance with IEPs, state and federal regulations, and district expectations.
Requirements
- Valid Texas EC�12 Special Education certification
- Knowledge of early childhood development and special education law
- Ability to collaborate with related service providers and families
Nice To Haves
- ECSE or PPCD experience
- Strong classroom management and data-driven instruction
Responsibilities
- Implement and manage IEPs for ECSE students
- Provide differentiated instruction in inclusive and/or self-contained settings
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and parents
- Maintain required documentation and compliance
- Participate in ARD meetings and progress monitoring
