Position Overview: Provide comprehensive special education services across two elementary campus locations, ensuring a consistent and supportive learning environment for students in grades K–5. Design, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to the unique academic and behavioral needs of each student. Partner with families and school staff, leading multidisciplinary meetings and adjusting instructional strategies to maximize student progress. Deliver high-quality, full-time classroom instruction and specialized interventions to foster inclusive learning and academic growth through the end of the school year.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- Valid Washington State Teaching License with an endorsement in Special Education
- Proven experience or training in working with primary-aged students (K–5) within a special education setting
- Ability to manage a dual-site schedule effectively, maintaining high standards of instruction and communication across multiple school environments
