Position Overview: Oversee an elementary-level caseload (K-5), providing essential social work services and behavioral support. Lead the Multidisciplinary Evaluation Team (MET) process and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings. Conduct thorough student assessments to identify social, emotional, and behavioral needs and develop intervention plans. Partner with staff and families to facilitate progress meetings and foster a supportive learning environment.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW)
- Valid Michigan State Board Social Worker License
- Active Michigan School Social Worker Certification
- Prior school-based experience managing IEPs/METs and providing social-emotional interventions for elementary students
Responsibilities
