About The Position

As Principal, you will serve as the instructional and operational leader of the school, responsible for fostering a high-quality educational environment while ensuring the successful day-to-day operations of the campus. You will lead the school administration team, support faculty development, and maintain a culture of academic excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Working closely with faculty, students, families, and the broader school community, you will guide the implementation of the school’s academic program, support student success, and ensure alignment with the mission and standards of The Rhoades School and Spring Education Group. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and relationship-building skills to manage school operations, support staff growth, and create an engaging and supportive learning environment for all students.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Education, Educational Administration, or a related field required.
  • School administrator’s license preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in education administration or school leadership.
  • Minimum of one year teaching experience required; three years of teaching experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor, inspire, and guide faculty and staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Experience with curriculum implementation, assessment practices, and data-driven instruction.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, make strategic decisions, and solve problems effectively.
  • Knowledge of accreditation processes, state regulations, and educational best practices.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and collaborative school community.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the school administration team and oversee all aspects of school operations.
  • Ensure the successful implementation of The Rhoades School’s instructional program and academic standards.
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and high-achieving learning environment for students and staff.
  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate faculty and staff while supporting their professional development and growth.
  • Use data and assessment insights to support instructional improvement and student success.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, faculty, and the local community.
  • Support student enrollment and retention through community engagement and marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation requirements and all applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Oversee school operations, including budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming school environment that supports student learning.
  • Collaborate with Spring Education Group leadership to support school performance and strategic initiatives.
  • Promote and uphold The Rhoades School’s culture of academic excellence, curiosity, and character development.
