About The Position

As a school nurse at Chestnut Hill Academy at Bright Horizons, you are always ready to take action in the event of an illness or accident. You are a trusted resource who educates and reassures families and staff about health and safety topics. The work you do is vital and makes a difference in the lives of the children, families, and your staff. We are hiring year-round, full-time, working 8:30-5:30 Monday - Friday.

Requirements

• Candidates must pass required state and company background checks.
• Must meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements.
• At least 18 years of age with a high school degree or GED required.
• Credentialed Nurse RN or BSN required.
• Bachelor of Science RN certification required.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of parent/guardian signatures for medication distribution.
• Ensure student immunization records are in compliance and that required forms and documentation are completed.
• Act as primary contact to administer health care in the event of any illness/accident resulting in an injury at the center.
