About The Position

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and engaging learning environment for students in grades PreK-5. This role involves planning and delivering effective instruction aligned with curriculum standards and promoting a positive classroom culture.

Requirements

• The minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
• A valid Kansas Teacher’s Certificate with appropriate endorsement.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Passion for working with children and fostering academic and personal growth

Nice To Haves

• ESOL Endorsement preferred ($500.00 annual stipend bonus for Kansas ESOL licensed employees)

Responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans that meet academic standards and are engaging and age-appropriate.
• Create a safe and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Assess student progress regularly and communicate effectively with parents/guardians.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, staff, and administration.
• Participate in school events, professional development, and other duties as assigned.
• Supports the District’s educational mission for all students and implements all Board regulations and policies in a fair and equitable manner
• Maintains confidentiality
• Performs other tasks and assumes other responsibilities as the principal or superintendent may assign
