The Assistant Principal of Student Support Services will be responsible for managing and coaching support services teachers and interventionists, managing related services, leading the Response to Intervention (RTI) program, providing professional development and resources to all staff in the areas of Special Education, intervention, and teaching English Language Learners. Additionally, this role will serve as a member of the School Leadership Team. Each school-based AP of Student Support Services will work closely with the Director of Student Support Services and Manager of English Learner Support Services, roles on KIPP Nashville’s School Support Team. ”Day in the life” responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
