We are Rocky Mountain Prep, a movement comprised of incredible educators, families, scholars, and advocates who are changing the face of public education in Colorado by democratizing college access and preparation for historically marginalized students and families. On paper, we are a network of twelve college preparatory charter schools in the Denver metro area serving students as young as twelve weeks through twelfth grade. But we are so much more than this. Assistant Principals are results-driven people managers who lead adults to achieve exceptional outcomes. They directly manage a portfolio of approximately 12–15 staff members, providing ongoing coaching and development, setting clear expectations, and holding team members accountable for excellence. They drive continuous improvement by analyzing a variety of data—academic, behavioral, operational, and cultural—to identify trends, prioritize coaching needs, and ensure progress toward campus goals. As key campus leaders, Assistant Principals facilitate high-leverage conversations across lines of difference, build systems for accountability and follow-through, and model a relentless pursuit of excellence. They engage families, support student behavior, and design and lead impactful professional development that aligns with staff and school priorities. Assistant Principals lead with clarity, confidence, and deep ownership—anchored in their leadership identity and our Concept Essence—creating a culture where all staff and students thrive.
