The position involves planning, preparing, and delivering lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning. The teacher will develop schemes of work, lesson plans, and tests in accordance with established procedures, instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment, and use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction. Additionally, the teacher will manage student behavior in the classroom, maintain discipline, provide feedback on work, and encourage and monitor the progress of individual students. The role also includes maintaining accurate records of students' progress, preparing reports, participating in meetings, and communicating with students, colleagues, and parents regarding student needs and progress. The teacher will prepare the classroom for activities, provide a variety of learning materials, observe and evaluate student performance, assign and grade work, and participate in extracurricular activities.
