About The Position

The Ashland Independent School District is seeking a Part-Time RTI Tutor at Oakview Elementary School for the 2025-2026 school year. This position is designed to provide support to students in need of additional assistance in their learning journey. The tutor will work closely with students to implement Response to Intervention (RTI) strategies, ensuring that each child receives the individualized attention necessary to succeed academically.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with children in an educational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with RTI or similar educational programs.
• Bachelor's degree in education or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized tutoring support to students in grades P-5.
• Implement Response to Intervention (RTI) strategies as directed.
• Monitor and assess student progress and adjust tutoring methods accordingly.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to identify students in need of support.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
