About The Position

Are you a passionate leader who can inspire kids to love Jesus and follow Him with joy? River City Community Church is looking for a full-time Elementary Ministry Pastor who’s ready to step into something meaningful — shaping the next generation to passionately follow Christ and live life on mission. Our Elementary Ministry serves Kinder through 5th graders with Sunday worship gatherings, Monday night discipleship, and exciting weekly activities. Worship, biblical teaching, and small-group discipleship are at the heart of everything we do. Who We’re Looking For We want someone who doesn’t just manage a ministry — someone who leads with vision and energy. Our ideal Elementary Pastor is: A godly, growth-oriented leader with proven experience in Elementary Ministry. Someone who can multiply ministry, helping us grow from ~200 to ~400 kids in the next five years. Skilled at building and equipping teams, training volunteers and interns to lead with confidence. A dynamic communicator, with a warm personality and a genuine love for kids and their families. Someone who dreams big, plans well, and executes with excellence. You won’t be doing this alone — you’ll join a strong, fully staffed team, partnering with our team administrator and leaders across Early Childhood, Sports, and Youth ministries. What You’ll Lead Weekly Rhythm & Events Lead staff and volunteers to create fun, energetic, and spiritually engaging services and experiences — from weekly gatherings to VBS, camps, sports events and more. Big-Picture Strategy Develop a yearly ministry vision with clear strategies to help kids connect with God, grow in faith, and serve with their gifts. Parent Partnership Build strong relationships with parents so they feel equipped and encouraged to disciple their kids at home. Team Development Work closely with our ministry team to ensure consistent, meaningful discipleship for kids, students, and families throughout all milestone phases. Requirements

Lead staff and volunteers to create fun, energetic, and spiritually engaging services and experiences — from weekly gatherings to VBS, camps, sports events and more.
Develop a yearly ministry vision with clear strategies to help kids connect with God, grow in faith, and serve with their gifts.
Build strong relationships with parents so they feel equipped and encouraged to disciple their kids at home.
