About The Position
The position involves providing assistance to instructional staff regarding the teaching and learning process, as well as classroom management. The role includes visiting classrooms to provide feedback and coaching related to student learning needs and instructional issues. The candidate will model exemplary lessons in the classroom and assist in teaching student groups as determined by the principal. Collaboration with staff to utilize student data for recommending appropriate changes in instruction, materials, and strategies is essential. Additionally, the candidate will develop and monitor a plan to ensure that at-risk students receive additional assistance, stay updated on curriculum issues and district standards, and communicate these to the staff. The role also includes helping to develop and present workshops that support the Campus Improvement Plan, working with parents to promote their involvement in school, and performing other curriculum duties as assigned by the building principal. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function.
