About The Position

We're looking for in-person tutors to provide ELA (literacy) support to middle school students on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Tutors will provide Math and ELA support to grades K-5. The programs runs Monday through Friday from 9 am to 2 pm.

Requirements

• Passion for Learning: Committed to supporting academic and personal success, especially for underserved and bilingual students.
• Strong Academics: Degree-seeking student or graduate with a minimum 3.0 GPA in Education or a relevant field.
• Committed and Flexible: Available to work 10-35 hours per week at an assigned school and participate in monthly training.
• Collaborative Spirit: Ready to work closely with teachers, school leaders, and fellow tutors to maximize student success.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring in core subjects like Math, Reading, Writing, Literacy and exam prep.
• Collaborate with teachers and school leaders to develop engaging, personalized learning strategies that help students thrive
• Bridge language gaps to ensure every student has the support they need.
