About The Position

The Montgomery County School System is seeking an Elementary Math Curriculum Resource Teacher to join our dedicated team. Our top priority is student achievement, and we are committed to providing quality education that empowers students to become productive members of our global society. The district consists of four elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school, all accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and staff to enhance the mathematics curriculum and support student learning in grades P-5.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• Valid teaching certification in Elementary Education with a focus on Mathematics.
• Experience in curriculum development and instructional strategies in mathematics.

• Master's degree in Education or Mathematics.
• Experience working with diverse student populations.
• Familiarity with current educational technology and resources.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement effective math curriculum strategies.
• Provide professional development and support for teachers in mathematics instruction.
• Assess and analyze student performance data to inform instructional practices.
• Develop and distribute instructional materials and resources for math education.
• Support the integration of technology in math instruction.
