RePublic Schools serves more than 2,900 scholars across seven schools in Nashville and Jackson. We are the only charter network solely committed to reimagining public education in the South—rooted in love, achievement, and belonging, and grounded in equity-driven practices that honor scholars’ identities and lived experiences. RePublic Schools is committed to redefining education in the South by ensuring that all elementary scholars build the foundational skills they need to read, write, and thrive. Our work centers on equity, cultural belonging, and a deep belief in the genius of every child. We are seeking an Elementary Literacy Instructional Coach who believes deeply in early literacy development, the science of reading, and the power of strong teacher coaching to drive scholar achievement. At RePublic, our instructional beliefs align with The Opportunity Myth, which demonstrates that scholars thrive when they have access to grade-appropriate assignments, strong instruction, deep engagement, and educators who hold unwavering high expectations. The Elementary Literacy Coach is expected to model and champion these beliefs, ensuring teachers design learning experiences that honor scholar brilliance, build foundational reading and writing skills, and expand opportunities for academic success.
