About The Position
The Elementary Interventionist provides targeted academic support to students requiring additional assistance in reading and/or math. This position focuses on delivering evidence-based interventions, monitoring student progress, and collaborating with staff and families to improve student achievement within an MTSS/RTI framework.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
- Valid state teaching certification
- Strong data analysis, collaboration, and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Elementary teaching experience preferred
- Training in literacy and/or math intervention strategies preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver Tier 2 and Tier 3 targeted small-group and one-on-one interventions using evidence-based, district-adopted programs
- Use assessment data to identify student needs, monitor progress, and adjust instructional strategies in real time.
- Implement research-based instructional practices aligned to core curriculum standards.
- Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and intervention team
- Actively participate in MTSS/RTI meetings to support student growth.
- Communicate student progress clearly and consistently with caregivers.
