About The Position

To efficiently supervise all staff members in the preparation of a quality product that meets the School Nutrition requirements at minimal costs. To efficiently complete all paper work required by the Food Service office. To build a good relationship with staff students and faculty.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Must obtain ServSafe certification within 6 months of hire date
Or equivalent training, education, and/or experience

Responsibilities

Keep accurate time sheets for employees.
Keep accurate sick/personal leave posted.
Submit complete and accurate sick/personal leave forms.
Adhere to agreed procedure for lunch ticket distribution.
Keep up to date records of withdrawals and new student on free/reduced lunch.
Keep accurate SL12 forms.
Count daily lunch receipts and make accurate bank deposits.
Keep daily production record.
Use standardized recipes.
Use Food Buying Guide daily in food preparation.
Accurately forecasts food preparation to meet daily lunch needs.
Project correct quantity of food to be ordered weekly.
See that portion control is strictly adhered to.
Post specific job distribution assignments daily.
Employ a systematic rotation system of food inventories.
Keep perpetual inventory book accurate and up-to-date.
Make accurate monthly inventory.
Maintain sanitary and safe kitchen conditions.
Make efficient usage of all personnel.
Maintain good working relationships with all employees and the public.
Communicate openly and effectively with students, parents, community patrons, staff and administration as a positive representative of Culpeper County School system.
Timely and regular attendance is an expectation of performance for all CCPS employees.
